Borgo Storico Seghetti Panichi, set approximately 10 km from the sea and 8 km from the medieval town of Ascoli Piceno, comprises a large 16th century Palazzo and Chapel, the San Pancrazio Cottage, a 19th century building sheltered by the old castle walls, all set in a historic garden designed between 1875 and 1890 by the renowned German botanist and landscape architect Ludwig Winter.The imposing red brick Palazzo is the cetrepiece of the Borgo. All five spacious Junior suites look out over the gardens and have been sumptuously refurnished with beautiful wallpapers, new bathrooms, fine fabrics and ceiling fans. Visitors are welcome to sit and read in the formal sitting rooms and can also enjoy dinner in the dining room. Near the swimming pool, with views on the valley, there is the San Pancrazio Cottage, where an old farm house has been converted into 5 De Luxe Studios. As in the Palazzo, these suites, have been elegantly furnished to th every highest standards.The Historic Gardens, designed in a ?romantic? style with towering palms, oaks, exotic and unusual plants and a lake with statues and a Japanese bridge, will delight any gardens lover.
